Career support for middle school girls from the members of SIOC
Dream It, Be It is a program from Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) to help middle school girls achieve their career goals. Each Soroptimist club participates with a local program.
Soroptimist International of Oceanside/Carlsbad is proud to partner with North County African American Women’s Association to provide the Becoming a Global Citizen Program at King Middle School in Oceanside. The program is designed to provide 8th grade girls with life skills and academic support that will prepare them to recognize and practice the qualities of self-coincidence, human compassion, effective communication and decision-making skills that lead to smart choices, which increase potential for positive outcomes.
